Climate Change Trend Analysis & Forecasting
Built during the IDEAS TIH Summer Internship 2026. Analysed annual CO₂ emissions (1990–2024) for ten countries from the Our World in Data dataset, fitted per-country ETS(A,Ad,N) damped-trend models with statsmodels, benchmarked them against naive, linear-regression and random-forest models on a 2019–2023 temporal holdout, and built a Streamlit dashboard for trends, forecasts and illustrative mitigation scenarios.
